This delightful blend of Cacao (Theobroma Cacao) and Macambo (Theobroma Bicolor) balances the energy and flavors of these two Theobroma Cousins.
What's Macambo? It's Cacao's ancient cousin also known as Pataxte. Theobroma bicolor, (it's Latin name) also grows in the Amazon and has beautiful white seeds which are light and nutty.
Traditionally consumed together throughout the Mayan world, this combination is also enjoyed as a beverage on many small family farms in Peru.
Ratio approximately 65% Cacao, 35% Macambo.
